Randolph, NY – April 24, 2025 – The Randolph Academy Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Martin Murphy as the new Principal of the Academy’s Hamburg Campus. Mr. Murphy will officially begin his role on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Mr. Murphy brings with him over a decade of experience in education, having most recently served as the Director of Pupil Services at Frewsburg Central School District. His background includes a variety of roles in both teaching and administration. Over the years he has worked as an elementary classroom teacher, served as a 5th-grade level chairperson, and held the position of Elementary Dean of Students before transitioning into district-level leadership.
Mr. Murphy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education from Buffalo State College and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Pennsylvania at Edinboro. He also earned an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from SUNY Stony Brook.
Randolph Academy Superintendent stated, “We’re excited to welcome Marty to our team as the incoming Principal of our Hamburg Campus. Martin brings a wealth of experience in education, and we’re confident he will be a strong asset to our school community.”
Upon his appointment, Mr. Murphy shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I feel extremely honored to join the Timberwolf community! In the coming weeks and months, I hope to learn as much from the district as they learn from me. I have learned so far that Randolph Academy is a special place filled with special people! I am excited to start this new chapter together!”
