Due to not needing additional school closure days this year, the district is able to make an adjustment to the calendar.
As a result, Thursday, May 21, 2026, will be a non-reporting day for support and professional staff.
Our friends at the Parent Network of WNY will be hosting a webinar on how to support your child’s vocabulary growth on Thursday, March 19, from 6:30 till 7:00 pm.
Learn how to foster your child's vocabulary development and reading skills and avoid the summer slide!
Participants will come away with a tangible set of resources that can be utilized at home to support vocabulary development.
Participants will be able to:
- Explain the importance of vocabulary instruction for their children.
- Describe ways to incorporate explicit instruction and vocabulary instruction in the home.

Our Randolph campus continues to be impacted by the water issue. The Randolph campus will be closed tomorrow, August 18, 2025. Students taking Regent’s exam review are scheduled to meet in the New Directions administrative building on our campus. Have a great evening.
Students in Mr. Carlson's culinary classes have been studying the process of making maple syrup.
Freshman and sophomores created dishes and drinks made from maple syrup. Juniors and Seniors are exploring the eco- and health benefits of maple products compared to corn syrup and sugar products. They have been tasked to create clever marketing strategies to sell their maple products.
The students created some delicious treats, including maple-glazed donuts, a cappuccino with coconut whipped cream, and a maple syrup drizzle. Maple granola, maple sugar, and many other maple-themed treats.
